The family support team are made up of Emma Burrows and Tina Day. One of the roles of a family support worker is to work closely with children and families who may be experiencing difficulties.

Support for pupils includes:
Promoting good attendance and punctuality, promoting self-esteem and confidence, providing personal, social and emotional support to children, E-safety , boundaries, routines and behaviour

Support for families includes:
Attendance and support at school and other agency meetings, Liaising with a range of external services, providing information to services available in the local area

Working with families who are going through difficult times including relationship breakdown, bereavement, mental well-being and financial hardship.
